iSGS: The Rough Guide

Working alongside leading airway surgeons and researchers worldwide, Catherine has created ‘A Rough Guide to idiopathic subglottic stenosis’, a comprehensive, patient-friendly resource designed to support people newly diagnosed with iSGS.

The guide explains the condition in plain language, outlines current treatment options, addresses common myths, and explores potential complications – including how to reduce risk and recognise early warning signs. It also provides practical, experience-based advice to help patients navigate daily life with iSGS and advocate effectively for their care.

Updated annually, the guide reflects the latest medical understanding and incorporates new research, clinical insights, and patient-led learning to ensure it remains a trusted and relevant resource for the global iSGS community.
